The old type of Senseos has sold out. These Senseos did not comply with the new regulations from Brussels and have been replaced by a new model. The old type HD7810 has been replaced by the HD7817. The item number remains the same, 804046.
The new model has a few advantages. It features a faster "Auto-stop function." The first cup of coffee is warmer than before, and now there is a "stop" function. This means that if you want a stronger cup of coffee, you can stop the brewing process earlier.
Unfortunately, these new features, including the mandatory ones imposed by Brussels, have also led to a price increase. We hope that the new features will compensate for this. The appearance of the new Senseo is not much different from the old one.
For smaller kitchens, there is now the Senseo Up. This model is also easier to fit under upper cabinets.
