Our daily lives are quite upside down. Children no longer go to daycare or school, and as much as possible, people are working from home. Everything is different now.
At Marindex, the health of our colleagues, their families, and our partners is our top priority. But we also have another important goal: keeping our store and customers running. So that we can all get through this in a healthy way.
We continue to deliver and assist
We are doing everything we can to continue delivering as completely as possible. However, we ensure safety when delivering. Our partners who handle deliveries maintain distance and avoid physical contact.
Our office is busier and more hectic than usual, but we are doing everything to keep waiting and response times as short as possible. Apologies if it takes longer than usual. We are currently working remotely, so it takes a bit longer for us to coordinate.
In this exceptional situation, we would like to emphasize that we are proud and have great respect for everyone who is currently working hard on our collaboration. We are also proud of our warehouse staff and delivery drivers, who cannot work from home but ensure that deliveries continue as usual.
Important message regarding cancellations and deliveries!
We understand that there are times when you consider “do we still need these items?” You may be thinking of canceling or adjusting your order. Marindex is flexible about this. We kindly ask that you make this decision as quickly as possible so that our warehouse staff can remove the order from the system or adjust the delivery date/quantity before they start collecting your order. If you receive a packing slip from Marindex, it means your order has been packed and collected. The shipment may even already be in the truck for delivery. Costs are then incurred, and the shipment has also been processed administratively. We can no longer adjust or cancel this shipment. This is how Marindex handles its suppliers as well. We ask for flexibility from them, but we also conduct ourselves as professionals. Shipments that have been processed by us will be accepted.
It's important to note that items that have been specially ordered for you and are already in production with our suppliers cannot be canceled!!!! Orders that have been placed are processed by us. Depending on the size of the packages and the quantity, work on them begins well before the desired delivery date. These are ultimately "items" (the package) that have been specially made for you. We ask for your understanding that these packages cannot simply be emptied, and the items cannot be stored separately in the warehouse. Temporary storage of packages can only be done in consultation with Marindex. Packages take up more volume than individual items and can quickly get in the "way." If packages are canceled AFTER packing, costs will be charged. We ask for your understanding regarding these difficult matters, but Marindex must also consider its liquidity to remain economically healthy. If we all work together, we will all get through this crisis. After all, the government is also providing assistance to businesses!
